In the Dense Forest

This piece is the opening piece of my booklet "One by One, Vol. 6". It is in e-Minor to use as many open strings as possible and make it easier to let the guitar unfold its sound. The first part is quiet slowly, in the second part (starting in bar number 17 with upbeat in bar 16) the same melody is accompanied by eighth notes to get the impression of moving forward and trying to find the way out of the dense forest. I hope you like it!

For the guitar players: Sorry for bar 5 and 7, this might be not so comfortable for your fingers because of the big strech from the 6th to the 1st string. It could take more time to practise these bars to get the slurs done.

In bars 21 and 23 the most challenging part could be to make the 3rd (open) string sound clear and not to stop it accidentally. Have fun playing!
