This piece is meant to unite a happy, childlike tune with my beloved poetic passages, here arpeggios (sometimes only minimal changes of notes, sometimes quiet common chord progressions). I don't have freckles and I never had. There are quiet a few people on the world who have them. When thinking about freckles, it is "Pippi Langstrumpf" who comes to my mind. So for me freckles are combined with something cheeky, a loveable rascal (if this exists in english? In german we call it "Frechdachs", which would be translated as "cheeky badger").
The first part, that seems to repeat 2 times is variated (although the same chords I used different voices) and it is played in Swing rhythm to express the "cheeky". The arpeggio parts are used as a contrast to the Swing parts.
